Description

  • Maintain a up to date understanding of employment legislation
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and provide guidance to the business on such legislation in order to minimise the risk of litigation
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures in line with legislation
  • Grow and maintain an approachable and open relationship with assigned business areas to aide early intervention in potential employee relations activity and prevent conflict where possible
  • Provide conflict management solutions to limit the risk to the business
  • Direct and manage the formal disciplinary and grievance process
  • Produce legally compliant documentation to support formal processes
  • Lead the recruitment process for assigned business areas, support the identification of high calibre candidates and ensure compliance with relevant policies
  • Maintain suitable recruitment records to ensure candidates are properly managed and that feedback is provided, including maintaining the central recruitment tracker
  • Ensure hiring managers are competent to recruit, providing coaching or training where appropriate
  • Actively participate in the selection process, attending interviews and assessment centers, either in person or via video conferencing
  • Provide feedback to candidates and guidance to hiring manager on behavioral assessment used within the selection process
  • Maintain a meaningful agency PSL, ensuring negotiated terms are managed to minimise financial cost and that quality of service is maintained
  • Produce the Staff Turnover recruitment statistics on a quarterly basis for QMS
  • Support the annual salary review process and interim reviews
  • Support the annual renewal of benefit schemes
  • Provide guidance, support and training to managers and employees to ensure an effective and meaningful appraisal system
  • Support the maintenance of the HR information systems and user profiles ensuring audit compliance and GDPR
  • As a Mental Health First Aider, promote Mental Health First Aid and make recommendation to line managers on supporting employees

Profile

Qualifications and required experience:

  • CIPD part qualified or equivalent by experience
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience with HRIS
  • Good level of verbal and written English
  • Experience of end-to-end recruitment
  • Mental Health First Aid Certified or willing to become certified
  • Thomas International - qualified to administer and feedback PPA behavioral assessments, or willing to become qualified

  • Working knowledge of Employment legislation

  • Use of SharePoint although training can be provided

Job Offer

  • Based in the Dundee office with option to work from home a few days
  • 35 hours a week
  • £28,000pa to £35,000pa
