We are currently recruiting for an interim hands on HR Manager to join our hospitality client on a full-time basis for 12 months to cover maternity leave in London (WC)
Reporting to the head of HR and managing 2 direct reports you will offer the highest level of services for employees and managers for all people-related matters, advising on overall HR policies and procedures, this role will be instrumental in the delivery of the people strategy and will involve designing HR processes to improve ER and encourage employee engagement.
·Advise and support Managers with ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, attendance meetings and performance issues.
·Coaching and partnering with various key stakeholders within the business on support for the people function.
·Analyse and understand retention and turnover of staff, including creating a robust set of people KPIs.
·Support the Head of People in implementing an annual engagement survey and report the findings.
·Manage end to end head office recruitment.
·Monitor and track onboarding, induction and probationary reviews for new starters.
·Partner with the payroll function to ensure accuracy of pay/pensions and holiday administration.
·An understanding of the flexible demands of a busy and fast-moving HR/People department
·Advanced working knowledge of UK and EU employment law
·Knowledge of general IT systems and applications including spreadsheets, word processing and databases.
·Experience of working with and implementing HR systems.
·Experience of complex ER cases and applying legislation to ER situations.
·Demonstrable experience in building relationships quickly
·Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
·Ability to work autonomously
·Ability to prioritise a demanding workload and multi-tasking
·Excellent time management
