HR Specialist Temporary £35,000-£40,000k DOE Hybrid Working

Your new company
The HR Specialist will be responsible for completing a variety of operational HR duties across the region. You will facilitate daily HR functions, including keeping track of employees records and supporting the recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as expert administrative skills. They will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR operations and will be familiar using a range of HR software and tools.

Your new role

  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance relating to policies, procedures, laws, and standards.
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, interviewing and issuing employment contracts etc.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.)
  • Execute all operational aspects of the employee life cycle with regards to operational HR tasks (contracts, compensation, training, social security, individual correspondence etc.)
  • Prepare and update employee files related to new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations and any other amendments in line with the set structure
  • System data-entry and reporting of any absences (e.g. illness, accidents) to respective authorities
  • Liaise with other internal and external departments or functions on a global scale (payroll, benefits etc.)
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects alongside the global HR team


What you'll need to succeed

  • A proven background in handling Employee Data reporting
  • Very good knowledge in executing and supporting managers on employee issues in accordance with local legislation
  • A strong understanding of local Labor Law and local Labor Markets
  • Expert knowledge of general HR topics
  • Experience of managing the full Employee life cycle and all related administrative handling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


What you'll get in return
You will receive an annual salary ranging from £35-45k depending on experience. This is temporary contract which is expected to last a minimum of three months with the opportunity of being extended or even becoming permanent for the right candidate. This company operates a Hybrid working policy so you will be required to work in the office 2/3 days a week at their Lichfield site.
