Oakleaf Partnership are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor for a Global Tech business based in Central London. Nearest station: Victoria.

This is a newly created role, designed due to growth and demand within the business. This is an exciting time to join as you will be working closely with the HR Operations Manager and Head of HR to transform the HR function and support the rapid growth of the business!

Day to day tasks include:

* Continuous improvement of process and procedures and implementation of innovative HR practices
* Managing employee relations issues, providing the business with advice and support in line with company policies
* Developing policies and supporting materials for managers in line with company culture and local legislation
* Providing a customer-focused approach to queries and requests for advice;
* Acting as an escalation point for complex issues
* Developing in-depth knowledge of the HR Information System functionality, including quality assurance and data analytics
* Driving selected HR projects, based on your interests and experience and strategic goals
* Supporting HR Manager and/or work with HR Project Manager in the implementation of further strategic projects
* Payroll processing and oversight, ensuring appropriate controls are in place and adhered to, and process improvements are made as required
* Supporting the Visa Sponsorship License process and managing query escalations
* Managing benefits including reward advice, internal communications and reviews of benefits and providers
* Maintaining HR documentation to ensure compliance with relevant employment law and company policy
* Providing operational support to the business as required

Experience/qualifications needed:

* Significant experience working as an HR generalist for a UK company. French/Benelux HR knowledge desirable
* Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law and demonstrable experience of managing employee relations matters
* Experience in providing HR support and advice to senior stakeholders
* Experience of processing payroll
* Understanding of GDPR and the necessary compliance issues and implications in HR records and processes
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. French and/or Italian desirable
* Able to define priorities, self-manage and work autonomously and as part of a team
* Conscientious and detail-oriented
* Excellent Excel knowledge, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
* BA/BSc in a business or HR related subject at 2:1 or above
* CIPD qualified to Level 7 or equivalent
