Employee Relations Specialist

12-month FTC

£48,000

Oakleaf are partnered with a leading global insurance organization in their search for an Employee relations specialist to join their small ER team which supports the Human resources BP's and Business through the delivery of expert advice and pragmatic management. This role is a12 month Fixed term contract, to support the team during a large period of transition as the business evolves. This role will require a level head and hands on approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as specialist supporting all ER activity including disciplinaries, performance management, grievances, mediation, absence, appeals, occupational health life cycle, flexible working and other associated ER activities.
  • Responsible for producing policies, procedures, and guidance for manager an employee across a broad range of employment matters.
  • Ensure all employee relations issues are dealt with in an effective and efficient manner in line with our policies and the law.
  • Deliver employee relations training workshops to managers across the UK.

Job Requirements

You will have previous experience of working within an SMCR financial services organisation and proven track record in carrying out the above tasks. You will also need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of UK employment law legislation
  • Extensive Employee Relations Experience
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing best practice HR solutions to drive a high-performance culture.
