HR Officer, Hybrid

The role

Reporting to the HR Business Partner and partnering closely with HR colleagues, and management teams, you will manage your own caseload of operational work along with the opportunity to become involved in project-related activity. Working with the HR Business Partner, this role is based in Guildford with occasional travel to the Bristol site and will work as a hybrid model 3 days in the office and 2 from home, working as part of a wider HR team who are based across the UK. This is a challenging but highly rewarding role for an HR professional who has the ability to successfully operate in a busy environment. As a generalist you will advise, guide and support all staff and managers across the UK when required, so an element of travelling will be required.

Specifically, the role includes:

  • Working at an operational level with multiple stakeholders, delivering an HR service in line with the needs and priorities of the organisation.
  • Deliver effective HR practices and people solutions aligned to business objectives.
  • With the support of the HR Business Partner, deal with complex or sensitive day to day people management issues.
  • To support the implementation and delivery of key HR initiatives as the interface between professional HR and the business
  • Advise, guide and support all staff and managers when required, referring more complex cases to the HR Business Partner.

The candidate

  • Experienced HR generalist
  • Level 5 CIPD qualified
