The successful Talent Advisor will be responsible for the day to day management of some of the Talent Development activities which will include: The Work Experience and Apprenticeship Scheme, Student Recruitment and Talent Pathways.

Page Personnel have partnered with a reputable law firm whose headquarters are based in Leeds, with eight additional offices within the UK. They specialise in providing innovative, high quality, specialist legal services to insurance companies, corporates, and public sector bodies. They are looking for a Talent Advisor to join them on a permanent and full time basis.

Description

The successful Talent Advisor will be responsible for day to day management of some of the Talent Development activity with support of a central Admin team which will include:

  • Taking ownership of the work experience scheme and strategy, and working alongside the Talent Development team to plan, organise and deliver the scheme both in person and virtually to students recently out of school, and university students
  • Taking ownership of the Placement Student Recruitment Scheme, and maintaining relationships with Universities to manage Placement student recruitment on an annual basis. You will be responsible for designing the recruitment processes, being involved in recruitment and selection with Team LeadersPrimary point of contact for the Apprenticeship scheme and Apprentices supporting the Business Partner with delivering the recruitment for the annual apprenticeship scheme including designing and delivering assessment centres, onboarding of apprentices, induction and ongoing support for apprentices up to qualification. Taking responsibility for maintaining the Digital Apprenticeship Service account in terms of managing apprentices. The role also involves organising annual events such as Graduations, Keeping in Touch (KIT) events, Careers Fairs and more. Supporting the Business Partner with delivering the internal recruitment processes for the Talent Pathways including supporting with the design and delivery of assessment centres, onboarding of Solicitor/Graduate Apprentices and specialised inductions. Also supporting the BP and Training Principal with Trainee related events. Taking responsibility for maintaining the SRA account in terms of managing Trainee SolicitorsMaintaining the Firm's Sponsorship programme including processing new applications with the Admin team, gaining relevant approvals from the budget holders and ensuring records are kept up to date at all times.Being the first POC for employee relations matters for apprentices and trainees

    Profile

    The successful Talent Advisor will have:

    * CIPD Level 5 or working towards it
    * Demonstrable HR generalist experience (1-2 years)
    * Early careers/recruitment experience (1-2
    * years)
    * Experience working within professional services/legal sector
    * Excellent attention to detail
    * Ability to present and deliver training efficiently and effectively
    * Strong networking skills

    Job Offer
