HR Advisor

I am delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services organisation based in Cardiff to help them recruit an HR Advisor.

12-month fixed term contract. Salary up to £36K+ benefits. Hybrid working is an option.

This is a great opportunity to work for a highly reputable and market leading brand, who are going through an exciting transformation project. The HR function supports over 9000 people and is at the centre of all people related activity. Its fast paced, fun and no two days are the same!

As the HR Advisor you will be based within a busy shared services function where you will be the first point of contact for all general enquires, giving advice and guidance on day-to-day HR issues as well as complex and sensitive employee relation matters. Reporting into the Shared Services Manager you will sit in a team of 10 and be confident in dealing with all areas of HR. You will ensure all HR policies and procedures are up to date and be responsible for accurately maintaining data held across the HR system. This is a busy, fast paced, and unionised environment where you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. You will need to be confident in your ability and demonstrate a customer service mindset with excellent communication skills.

To be successful in this role you would have ideally worked or be working in a busy shared service function providing all HR generalist support. You will have a good understanding of HR policies and procedures as well as up to date knowledge of employment legislation. You will be an effective communicator who can challenge and influence effectively when required.
