HR Manager - £50,000 - £60,000

Your new company
Hays HR (Private Sector) are working exclusively with a well established and highly successful Manufacturer in Newport. Our client are looking to recruit a HR Manager to report into a HR Director. The successful candidate will ensure HR practices and policies are developed and applied, and reflect Groups HR guidelines and practices while addressing local needs as well.

Your new role
*Support managers with HR related matters
* Nurture a positive working environment that reflect values, ethical standards and culture
*Coach and advises local managers and employees on HR related matters
*Represent site view to Corporate HR in order to develop deploy feasible global HR programs and policies
*Ensure efficient deployment of all HR programs and policies in the applicable country;
*Cooperate with the recruitment team in attracting top talent
*Provide support to BG's and corporate functions to plan and execute organizational change programs in the country inventories leadership and soft skills development needs and develops and deploys plans to address these needs in alignment with the L&D COE
*Deploy employee and management development & employee engagement programs as well as culture and workforce productivity initiatives
*Effectively manages employee/industrial relations related matters in the country, including but not limited to being the point of contact for employee representation bodies such as works council and/or unions
*Develop and implement effective absence management and disciplinary policies in line with local legislation
*Build a strong capable HR team;
*Ensure effective operation of the payroll process and the HR and benefit administration
*Ensure compliance with local legislation, applicable (industry) standards and company policies and guidelines such as the Code of Conduct.
