Macmillan Davies are looking to attract an exceptional HR Generalist on behalf of an international manufacturing Business with a head office in South Manchester and manufacturing sites based in the north of England.
Following an exciting HR transformation the HR Advisor will join the business as they move to a matrix structure and go live on an overseas HR Shared Service set up later on in the year.
Reporting to the Head of HR Operations (based overseas) and with a local reporting line to the HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor will be a key part of the UK team and take on a broad role in a rapidly expanding manufacturing business who have recently successfully acquired 2 other businesses.
Your role will ask you to:
*Manage and coordinate HR service delivery in the UK
*Deliver employee engagement initiatives and Transformation Programmes
*Manage Employee Relations cases and provide specialist advice to Managers
*In collaboration with the HRBP, support the Manufacturing Management Team with Trade Union Activities
*Induct and onboard employees in conjunction with the Line Manager
*Support activities relating to employee engagement and communication initiatives across the business
*Work with the T.A team to support end to end recruitment campaigns
*Manage UK payroll (working with the outsourced payroll provider)
*Support the pay review and bonus process
*Support local community relations and initiatives
We are looking for a HR Advisor keen to take on a new challenge and develop in a values led international business that never stands still.
You will be able to demonstrate:
*Experience as HR Generalist in a fast paced ever changing environment
*Experience within the Manufacturing industry and/or trade union activities would be advantageous
*Strong payroll expertise (desirable - not essential)
*Knowledge of the full HR operations solution
*Good collaboration and exchange with HR Business Partners, HR Operations and Centres of expertise
*Ability to deliver high quality customer service consistently in a professional manner
*Strong Project Management Skills
*Adaptable to quickly changing requirements and able to manage conflicting demands
Flexible working has been adopted and expectations of the role will be around 60% work from home but there will be some occasional site travel across the north of England.
