Senior HR Advisor (Part Time), Norwich, £35k FTE (22k, 3 Days) Aerospace Sector

Your new company
Your new organisation is within the aerospace sector and is looking for a part time, senior HR Advisor to join their close knit, HR team, to deliver operational and administrative HR requirements across their UK sites.

Your new role
Working across a full HR generalist remit, you'll be offering professional HR support, advice, and guidance throughout the following responsibilities.

You'll be maintaining HR attendance activity and ensuring all employee data is correct and current. You'll also be assisting the HR director to update and maintain HR policy and procedure, in addition to reporting on HR issues, activity and development plans.

As part of your responsibilities, you'll be managing the recruitment and selection process, with assistance of the office administrator.

Additionally, you'll monitor the absence management programme and annual appraisal process. As well as coordinating medicals and liaising with the department managers to understand their day to day HR needs, advising on HR issues and queries, including ER issues such as disciplinary and grievance.

As part of your role, you'll maintain an awareness of HR developments in policy and legislation to ensure business compliance.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you'll be at minimum CIPD level 3 qualified. You'll have a great track record of success in a customer focused business environment and have experience in managing ER issues.

You'll have the ability to maintain strong relationships, and have great interpersonal, and communication skills.

Importantly, you'll be independent, and have the ability to perform autonomously.

Lastly, you'll have a good current knowledge of UK employment legislation .
