A truly exciting opportunity for an HR Project Manager for new openings for an a global organisation

We have a unique opportunity to join a world leading global organisation who are expanding their operations in the far east and as such require a HR Project Manager (New openings) to support the In country leadership teams with effective HR & Resourcing strategy and processes.

This not your standard HR BP role... Its more of a project role supporting People elements for the the opening of large scale hospitality / leisure and retail developments in countries such as South Korea and then China. As a HR Project Manager you will be responsible supporting the in country teams with all aspects of HR & Recruitment process and best practice. You will need to evaluate and develop a blue print for all HR & Resourcing process, documentation and for ensuring new sites don't 'reinvent the wheel' and use material / processes which have been created to enable them to set up and open from a people perspective.

You will provide pragmatic and problem-solving solutions, and implement direction and coordination across newly opening Developments, ensuring best practise and consistency in all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, on boarding and training. Whilst pre-empting and flagging issues to senior leadership, you will support the HR Directors to drive excellence in all areas relating to people and people based projects.

Candidates
You must have HR Business Partner experience preferably supporting or owning large projects such as new site openings or similar, ideally from a Hospitality, Retail or leisure background

  • HR Management qualification (CIPD / SPHR etc) along with a Batchelors degree in a relevant subject.
  • The ability to project manage and engage and influence stakeholders, able to understand the wider global picture of HR Operations.
  • Ideally you'll have knowledge of different countries employment requirements, and you will have experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • You will be proficient in process mapping, budgeting and staff projections.
  • You will have a sound knowledge of HR Best practice and you will be able to recognise best practices and useful information / processes in the business, and localise them for new openings.
  • In-depth knowledge in the areas of staffing and employment, employee relations, legal and regulatory compliance, conflict management, compensation, benefits, HR database and personnel records, training, and organization development.
  • You will have progressive and extensive experience in HR Management and recruitment of senior staff, preferably in a large scale Global context.
  • You will have a track record of success in curating, developing and implementing tactical HR resources, plans and programs.

Other

  • Travel - There is travel required in the role, the next new opening is with South Korea next year and then onto 3 openings in china. This travel could be 2 weeks in every 5 to the new sites.
  • You must have a valid passport (or be willing to obtain one) as the role will involve international travel.
  • Also the person who takes the role needs to be flexible on early and late calls as the senior management team are based in North America
  • Flexibility in working hours is required due to different time zones.
  • You must have a valid drivers license.

Options for Working from the HQ, Sites in UK / hybrid home working and travel to countries including South Korea / China.
