Page Personnel are currently partnering with a well established retail business, based in Flintshire, who are looking for a HR People Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the People Manager, you will be responsible for developing a culture where people really matter!

Description

The successful HR People Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Advise and coach line managers to ensure people always come first
  • Updating and implementing effective recruitment strategies to ensure you attract top talent
  • Drive staff engagement strategies in order to reduce absences
  • First point of call for all HR related issues
  • Proactively manage a range of employee relations cases
  • Identify opportunities to improve learning and development
  • Payroll administration
  • Actively participate in HR related project work
  • Line management duties for junior staff

Profile

The successful HR People Specialist will:

  • Experience of working in a busy HR team, ideally within the retail sector
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Innovative and creative
