We have a fantastic permanent job opportunity for a ER Manager / HR Projects Specialist in London for a leading retailer.

You will ensure approach is future focused, aligned to the People Plan & driving business performance, bringing clarity to aspects of the strategy that the organisation aspire to be market leading in; underpinned by being legal compliant and externally benchmarked. You will be a true business partner to the Business unit HR teams, working alongside relevant centres of expertise to support deliver the organisation wide, and business unit specific plans. Ensure the delivery of business objective of maintaining a direct relationship with our employees, mitigating the risk of Trade union recognition whilst working in partnership with senior stakeholders.

Essentially this is not a caseworker ER role. You will need to look at trends and insight and how this feeds into policy moving forward. You will have:

  • In depth knowledge and experience of working in a complex, fast paced employee relations function.
  • Excellent understanding of employment legislation and current trends, with experience of managing complex ER cases/issues
  • Demonstrable breadth of thinking and action that goes beyond policy and legislation, translating plans into action to further improve colleagues experience
  • Proven track record of managing end to end business change activity (eg redundancy, restructuring, TUPE etc) from business case to completion
  • Strong MI and analytical skills to interpret data and insight, making recommendations to further enhance the ER & Experience plans
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
