I have partnered with a global Investment Bank in their search for a Senior HR Business Partner to join a London based team that looks after a client base of 600 employees across EMEA. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner with extensive experience within Financial Services & looking to move into a progressive & hands on position.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key point of contact to clients, providing guidance and recommendations across the entire suite of HR Business Partner responsibilities
• Partner with and, where appropriate, influence managers to ensure we are hiring the right calibre of candidates
• Work with managers and the Compensation team to determine appropriate compensation levels for new hires
• Advise and coach managers - and more junior members of the HR team -- across a wide range of employee relations issues taking into account best practice, legislative framework and commercial outcome
• Work with the business to interpret and apply the companies policies and procedures
• Work closely with the business to manage headcount data and people metrics
• Partner with the business to develop their Talent strategy, and with the Talent organization on the implementation of this
• Work proactively with the business on succession planning for critical roles
• Stay abreast of market developments to ensure ability to proactively provide business with valuable market insight

Skills:

• Proven background within HR within a professional environment such as professional services or financial services
• Numerate, strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate fluently and effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing
• Methodical, rational and logical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to manage expectations of clients and colleagues
