Oakleaf are supporting a large International Law Firm to hire an Interim who will lead the Recruitment and Onboarding Operations teams Global Service Centre (GSC),

The role will lead the delivery and development of the service working in partnership with the Head of International Talent Acquisition to ensure the alignment with the firm's Talent Acquisition Strategy and the People Value Proposition with a key focus on operational excellence. You will ensure the candidate and hiring manager experience is at the forefront of operational delivery and oversee effective implementation and enablement of recruitment and onboarding tools and technology.

It would be fantastic for someone who has managed/ lead a Recruitment operations/ shared service function- and is experienced with managing a remote team.

Key areas of responsibility:

 Lead the delivery service and process improvement projects and initiatives within GSC Recruitment and Onboarding,

 Partner with the International Talent Acquisition and HR Operations teams to assess service performance

 Develop services that are supporting the overall aim of ensuring great candidate and hiring managers' experience

 Support the development and improvement of governance arrangements for GSC Recruitment and Onboarding services, including the development of SLAs, KPIs, escalation processes, exception management processes and monthly reporting of performance

 Ensure integration with other functional areas including seeking opportunities for cross-functional cost effective solutions

 Provide required analysis of process performance

 Support Transition, Continuous Improvement and Technology teams on identifying business requirements for new solutions and services.

Skills, experience and characteristics:

 Working knowledge and experience of recruitment operations: people, process and technology requirements.

 Experience working in a recruitment role, ideally managing hiring managers and recruitment campaigns

 Understanding of HR Shared Services best practice and ability to leverage that knowledge.

 Excellent organisational skills

 Experience of managing a team, both directly and through a matrix structure.
