An Asset Manager based in central London is now looking for a Recruitment Manager to join its Human Resources team. This position offers an excellent opportunity in a dynamic environment for an individual with a "hands-on" approach.

The role holder will be responsible for recruitment activity across all lines of business based in London from receptionists to senior investment professionals. In addition to individual position recruitment, this person will take a leadership role in developing and executing recruitment programs to meet the growing needs of the organisation.

We are looking for experienced recruiters that have solid experience within the Financial Services sector. Candidates will be happy working top to bottom, strategic to operational. You will need to be engaging, possess excellent stakeholder management skills and have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full life cycle of the recruitment and selection process for all levels of role from contract recruitment through contingency hiring to search assignments
  • Partner with Human Resources & the business to determine resourcing needs across London and European offices and develop hiring strategies to align with business growth
  • Creatively source candidates for positions, utilizing a variety of recruitment resources such as employee referrals, internal and external websites and recruitment agencies and search firms
  • Manage the relationships with external providers, building support in the market and ensuring fees are fair and terms in place
  • Evaluate resumes, interview and present qualified candidates to hiring managers and solicit feedback on candidates to refine recruiting strategy as applicable
  • Partner with hiring managers to create, edit and post job descriptions as well as advise on salary and other compensation requirements
  • Oversee the coordination and scheduling of interviews
  • Gather and present market data on hiring trends and market compensation
  • Establish strong relationships with internal employees and hiring managers to foster a partnership throughout the interview process
  • Ensure positive candidate experience with frequent and timely communication throughout the recruitment process
  • Act as an ambassador - educate candidates on the culture, career growth, benefits and many advantages of working for the company
  • Understand diversity goals for each business and create a strategy to meet these goals
  • Conduct compensation conversations with both Human Resources and hiring manager to ensure internal and external equity
  • Track recruiting metrics to determine efficiencies and areas for improvement - provide updates to senior management
  • Collaborate with HR Coordinators to initiate offer letters to and on boarding activities with successful candidates
  • Responsible for weekly and quarterly reporting of global recruitment activity
  • Work with external partners where applicable to build relationships and to generate new, creative and cost-effective recruitment sourcing vehicles
  • Oversee the hiring of interns, graduates and MBA
  • Ensure all recruitment activities are conducted and completed in accordance with HR policy, expected response times and comply with corporate governance and audit requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree educated or equivalent with significant recruitment experience working in-house at a private equity, investment management firm, professional or financial services firm or with a recruitment agency focused on the financial services sector
  • Track record of employee placement in investments, finance and operations, portfolio management and corporate functions
  • Demonstrated ability to assess candidates for technical skills and culture fit
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships through value-added execution
  • Understanding of long term incentive plans is an asset

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills
