The Specialist Recruitment Lead is central to our ambitions. You will be responsible for effective recruitment to key senior positions within the organisation.  This role ensures the future supply and appointment of talented senior leaders by providing high quality, diverse appointments, representative of the communities of Manchester.

You will develop productive working relationships with senior leaders across the organisation, manage the end-to-end process of recruitment and selection of executive level posts in Manchester City Council, and deliver a great candidate experience.   You will also manage key relationships with our Search partners and ensure EDI is at the heart of how they work, supporting the diversity and inclusion ambitions of the Council.

You will have strong demonstrable knowledge of the importance of effective resourcing strategies and processes with a track record of delivering effective improvement to ensure diversity and inclusion in recruitment approach and outcome.  You will have worked effectively at senior and Director level and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple and complex recruitment programmes.  You will have managed high value contracts, negotiated multiple bids and developed effective working relationships with search partners.
