EMEA Payroll Operations Manager £75k to £85k + Bonus - City & Agile Working

A global Investment Firm based in the heart of the City are looking for an experienced EMEA Payroll Operations Manager to join their firm.

This will be a standalone role reporting into the HR Director and with a dotted line into North America. With a fully outsourced Payroll (Workday & ADP) this really is a next step opportunity with a major Governance focus and owning their EMEA & APAC payroll offering.

My client are also operating a very flexible and agile working policy with no one going into their offices more than two days per week.

The role:

  • Execute EMEA & APAC payroll services in partnership with internal & external stakeholders, including:
    • Accountability to manage, oversee and ensure timely/accurate processing (and payment) of payrolls by our 3rd party outsourced payroll providers
    • Accountability to manage, oversee and ensure timely/accurate processing of payroll related funding and General Ledger Payroll entries
  • Responsibility for maintaining, managing and executing on the year-end payroll plan activities
  • Responsibility for global mobility payroll related activities in conjunction with 3rd party provider
  • Responsibility for any statutory filings (e.g. P11D(b), PSA, HMRC SIP filing, etc) in conjunction with 3rd party providers
  • Responsibility for any liaison with external auditors over Payroll
  • All other internal governance associated with this role and its accountabilities
  • Provides some support for absence management queries (e.g. Pay impacting absences)

Other:

  • Must have strong experience and exposure to EMEA payrolls
  • Must have excellent Vendor Management experience
  • Must be able to push back and get their thoughts across in a professional but stern manner
  • Excellent communication skills both internal/external
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Must have had ownership of an EMEA payroll offering (ideally from Financial Services)
