Organisational Development (OD) Manager - Home Based

Your new company

I am currently supporting a Local Government who are on the lookout for an experienced OD Professional to join them on a temporary ongoing contract as an OD Manager. Role is home based.


Your new role

You will lead specific OD projects, programmes and initiatives for the Council to support its strategic ambition and to deliver the modernisation programme. Work with directorates and change programme leads and teams to deliver the OD agenda.

Key Role Outputs:

• OD strategy and plan
• Workforce plan
• OD tools, processes and interventions to improve organisational performance

What you'll need to succeed

• Significant experience of designing and delivering a complex OD agenda
• Knowledge and understanding of OD best practice and the delivery of value for money and savings
• Experience of the design and delivery of bespoke OD interventions
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail, specifically focusing on analysing and interpreting complex statistical data including trends and performance management data, with a view to producing accurate and meaningful reports
• It would be ideal (but it is not essential) for the candidate to have local government experience
