Interim HR Manager - 12 month contract based in Basildon £40K
Your new company
A fast growing, multi site SME organisation based in South Essex requires a HR Manager on a contract basis for 12 months. This is an operational role that requires onsite working to support the management team. You will provide advice and support to managers on all HR related issues, whilst supporting the rapid growth of the business.
Your new role
This is a busy role that requires an operational hands on HR Manager that is efficient and enthused by the growth plans of the business. This is a great opportunity to support an organisation with rapid growth plans over the next 12 months, ensuring the people plan is aligned to business objective. You will deliver an excellent service to Directors, Managers and employees in all employee related matters. Advise the business in matters in accordance with current employment law and company procedures.
There may be some travel to other sites on occasions. Support to Recruitment is a large part of the role, advising managers on the process and current market conditions, managing employment offers and onboarding of new starters to ensure a smooth transition into the business. Managing all Employee relation issues such as disciplinaries and grievance process, supporting and coaching managers throughout.
What you'll need to succeed
* HR Generalist Management experience
* Experience of working within the Construction sector preferred
* Strong employment law knowledge
* Hands on and willing to assist in all operational matters
* CIPD Qualified or equivalent
* Autonomous self-starter able to manage own workload
* Ability to build key stakeholder relationships
