The HR Manager will be responsible for leading on all HR operational activities and supporting the HR Business Partner in the delivery of the site's HR strategy and agenda. The HR Manager will provide advice, guidance and direction on all people-related matters, working closely with site line managers and the leadership team.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in implementing the site's HR strategy and agenda, including change management programmes
  • Ensure the delivery of a proactive HR Business Partnering service, including working effectively with line managers and senior management teams
  • Work with the HR Admin team and wider HR function to provide the business with an effective HR service
  • Coach and guide line managers on all aspects of HR, to create a positive employee relations experience and improved employee engagement
  • Coach line managers on effective performance management and development within their teams
  • Responsible for case management of ER issues, including absence and performance matters
  • Own the site's compensation and benefits strategy, ensuring clear processes are in place
  • Drive continuous improvement and challenge current ways of working to ensure the delivery of a first-class HR service
  • Use HR data and insight to support decision making and drive activities that deliver improved business performance
  • Lead on the delivery of HR processes, including recruitment, talent management and succession planning

Profile

  • Degree-qualified or CIPD level 5
  • Ideally working towards CIPD Level 7
  • Generalist HR experience is essential
  • Previous HRBP experience
  • Experience of delivering change management programmes
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management experience
  • Experience of working with trade unions
  • Experience of delivering cultural and organisational change
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Offer

  • Salary of £36,500 per annum
