This is a great opportunity to join an innovative and progressive organisation as they seek to modernise their talent acquisition and people processes. Reporting to the Head of HR this is a newly created role leading on all recruitment / talent acquisition activity within the organisation as well as supporting a generalist HR team.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Developing and implementing a modern recruitment strategy in order to attract and recruit the best candidates, this will include reviewing their current advertising strategy, ensuring they are using the most effective and relevant routes to market including social media
  • Managing the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring the best possible candidate journey, through to on-boarding and inducting new starters.
  • Developing talent pathways, succession planning and a retention strategy.
  • Reviewing recruitment collateral including job descriptions, adverts, salary benchmarking and more
  • Working with key stakeholders in the business to identify future resource requirements and developing proactive workforce plan
  • Supporting the Head of HR with any necessary restructuring, redundancy and consultation processes.
  • Providing leadership to a small HR Admin team.

To be a success in this role you will need to be a strong recruiter with the ability to understand specific role briefs and hiring managers, think creatively about how to attract and source talent and manage recruitment campaigns effectively. You will need

  • A passion for recruitment and resourcing
  • Exposure to HR generalist projects
  • Strong communication skills

Based in Cheltenham there will be an opportunity to work from home 1 day a week. The business may also consider a part-time applicant (4 days a week)
