Your new company

This privately owned, successful retail company with 5 stores across the UK and with plans to expand, are seeking an enthusiastic HR Officer to join their developing organisation. They are committed to offering the best customer service and exceeding our customer's expectations. As a business they are motivated to drive their customer experience both internally and externally and as a HR team the continual drive to make the organisation a great place to work.

Your new role

  • Communicate effectively and build professional working relationships with Directors, Managers and Employees of the Company
  • Provide HR support to line managers on a wide range of people matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and family friendly cases
  • Provide HR support and offer clear, first line advice to managers to ensure all HR and Recruitment procedures are consistently adhered to
  • Assist with the review and update of Recruitment Policies and associated procedures and communicate changes where required to relevant parties
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in all activities
  • Work with the IT and Marketing teams to support and communicate key HR and Recruitment initiatives
  • Work with individuals and managers to ensure adherence to organisational values and behaviours in everyday practice
  • Encourage open and honest conversations between employees and supervisor/managers
  • Deliver service excellence and display strong internal customer service ethos.


What you'll need to succeed

Previous HR Advisory/Officer level experience and can demonstrate at interview your previous experiences and key achievements.
Ideally Level 5 CIPD qualified or prepared to work towards
A passion for working in a fast paced environment and with a general knowledge of employee relations legislation.
