Your new role

Working as the director of people and culture you will be at the centre of all people operations and have experience working as a true partner to the business. Reporting into you, you will have 7 different business units, including resourcing and recruitment, head of excellence, culture specialist and employee experience specialists.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with key stakeholders within the business to understand the business needs
• Influence the business leaders to champion the innovative ways of thinking and implementation of the people strategy
• Lead from the front on diversity and inclusion throughout the whole of the business
• Manage and inspire 7 different HR streams to enable their people strategy
• Support people calendar on certain tasks, such as wellbeing, salary reviews, gender reviews

They are looking for you to have the following key areas of experience and skills:

• Experience of working as a HR Director within a complex organisation
• The ability to work within a extremely fast paced, forward thinking organisation
• You will have a holistic approach to your work and live by the core values which this organisation stands for, being open minded, inclusive, innovative and cutting edge
• Proven ability to work within a centre of excellence
• Preferable experience of working as a HR Director within a retail business
• Ability to draw on your team, stakeholders and the C Suit team to create true collaboration by setting direction and creating culture

What you'll get in return

This company is based in London and are looking for their new People and Culture director to come into the office 2/3 days a week and will offer excellent flexibility in return. As well as London operations, there might be travel to their regional centre of excellence's which include South West, Midlands and the North. The annual salary is starting at £85,000 up to £100,000.
