HR Specialist - Boston and Lincolnshire - £35000 to £45000 plus car allowance and excellent bens (salary DOE and qualifications) Commutable from Sleaford, Spalding, Grantham, Skegness, Horncastle, Louth

Your new role
This is an exciting role to provide a 1st class and effective HR provision to the UK business of a European group. Working in a generalist capacity and also assisting the UK HR Manager and the UK HR Director on rolling out various projects to promote the HR strategy and initiatives.

Your duties will consist of the full remit of generalist HR work; from stake holder management, advising & coaching Business Leaders & Line Managers, Trade Union liaison, assisting with change management and ER issues (including grievance / disciplinary processes, absence management etc).

The HR Specialist will act as the "Advisor" to the functional leaders, applying strong HR experience and expertise. You will develop and execute business strategies focused on performance management, career development, employee relations and compensation planning.

In addition, you will put in place best practice processes enabled by the company's "Ways of Working" to help guide the businesses through change You will line manage an exceptional HR Advisor and be involved in their future progression through being a "mentor" and coach.

The role will be "Field Based" - dealing with various sites (aswell as UK Head office in Boston). You will have flexibility to do some Work from Home with working at Head Office in Boston 1-3 days a week (flexible) and also including other travel to other UK locations where necessary.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to work with a truly developmental HR team, HR Director and organisation - and progress your career and skills.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will ideally have previous HR generalist experience within a fast paced, complex or multi-site organisation - and ideally Trade Union liaison experience. Be CIPD Level 5 qualified as a minimum or hold a relevant degree, and come from a manufacturing/production background (or related/similar industry).

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary dependant on your current experience and qualification level aswell as a car allowance (due to the travel involved in the role).
Hours of work are 37.5 - Monday to Friday
25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays (increasing with service length)
