The successful ER Manager will be the first point of contact for any generalist HR queries for both Managers and employees across all communication methods (face to face, telephone, email and letters) and offer accurate and up to date information relating to employment legislation, maintaining personal knowledge through self-development and networks within the wider HR community.

Our client are a next-generation electric vehicle company, with over 100 years experience. Their team includes industry experts who are passionate and dedicated in transforming transport.
They are now looking for an ER Manager to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

Description

As an ER Manager, you will be the first point of contact for any generalist HR queries for both Managers and employees across all communication methods (face to face, telephone, email and letters) and offer accurate and up to date information relating to employment legislation, maintaining personal knowledge through self-development and networks within the wider HR community.
You will also support the creation, maintenance and implementation of HR policies and procedures, and make commercially driven decisions to support the management team in line with the policies and procedures.

Profile

The role will be varied, and you will deal with all levels of ER caseloads as well as support managers with their capabilities.

The successful ER Manager will have:

  • Previous experience in a HR role
  • Successful track record of high-volume case management
  • Excellent standard of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of building management capability
  • CIPD qualification
  • Experience of working in a unionised environment
  • Manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
