HR Business Partner

This is a great opportunity to join a multinational company and market leader as the Site lead and HR Business Partner for one of their UK manufacturing and supply chain sites.

Reporting into a Head of HR (based centrally) and with a dotted line into the site General Manager, this position will be responsible for all HR related activities for a site with a headcount of c.300. Working closely with the senior leadership team - GM, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain, and alongside a centralised HR Shared Service and COE, you will take the lead role in all people related workstreams:

* Engagement & communication, including employee relations and working closely with trade union representatives
* Driving engagement, performance and cultural development
* Recruitment and onboarding, and skills gap analysis
* Reward and recognition
* Organisational change and development
* Leadership development

This is a challenging role that requires someone with gravitas and credibility who is able to work alongside senior stakeholders and be a part of the Site leadership team. Ideally your experience will have been gained within a similar industry sector and working environment - manufacturing, supply chain, FMCG, engineering - managing the development and delivery of all site based HR activity. With broad HR Business Partnering experience you will have the ability to think strategically, be able to focus on leadership development, drive engagement and performance, drive project and change management and build strong relationships at all levels. This will include ER and Trade Union experience alongside strong knowledge of UK employment law. Alongside your HR generalist experience you will possess good business/financial acumen and have great communication skills.

Due to the nature of the role you will be expected to be on site 3 days/week. The site is based in Lancashire and in commuting distance of North Liverpool, Wigan, Southport, Burscough, Preston, Formby and Bolton.
