Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a leading Education provider in their search to add a strong HR Advisor to their existing HR department.
 
This will be a full time, permanent position, based in Tottenham, with potential opportunity for some remote working.
 
The salary for this role will be up to £30k
 
HR Advisor - about this role
 
·As part of the role, you will provide a consistent specialist HR advice and guidance to managers and employees in line with Policy and Process across the full breadth of HR.
·Ensure that the HR service undertakes all necessary employment checks including DBS and right to work, qualification, medical and references.
·Coordinate the onboarding and induction process for all new employees.
·Advise the HR Partner(s) and Chief People Officer of absence issues and trigger points.
·Support the Chief People Officer in administering the school's annual appraisal cycle.
·Ensure HR Systems are up to date and accurate, including new starters and leavers, contractual amendments, change of details, annual leave and recording of sicknesses
·Complete regular audits of HR systems.
·Act as the initial point of contact for all HR related queries
·Provide comprehensive support to the London based school and the Central team across the full employee life cycle from recruitment to leavers.
 
Key experience -
 
·Proven HR experience within a similar HR related role.
·Experience of working in the Education or public sector would be advantageous.
·CIPD qualified desirable but not essential.
·Advanced keyboard skills, software expertise, Word, Excel.
·Experience of using a HR database/system i.e. People HR, ITrent, bespoke systems
·Extensive attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate and up to date records.
·Well organised, with ability to work to tight deadlines.
·The post holder will be required to have a valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.
