Description

As the Recruitment Manager - Engineering/Automotive for this company in Oxford, to best support the company as they look to grown headcount by 50% by the end of 2022, your remit will be to manage both the internal and external facing recruitment activity whilst and providing support in order that we achieve a timely hire. This will include:

  • Providing hands-on business delivery to hiring to provide a proactive and targeted approach to attracting the best talent.
  • Ability to source candidates directly using various recruitment tools.
  • Providing first-class recruiting support and advice throughout the end to end hiring process to our hiring managers and on overall hiring strategy.
  • Own and manage the recruitment process for internal and external positions, from qualifying with the hiring manager through to on-boarding on their first day, this includes all administrative tasks.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Leading best practice in all things recruitment.
  • Own manage and deliver the resourcing plan for the relevant financial year.
  • Own and manage the annual resource budget and adhere spend in respect of direct v indirect recruitment and salary offered for each role.
  • Create, manage and own relevant recruitment KPI's, communicate monthly to the HRD.
  • Manage our preferred suppliers and ensure they are delivering the expected service.

Circa 90% of the roles that you will recruit for will be in the Engineering space. These interviews will typically be conducted on-site (so that the Engineers can see their prospective new work environment) and so this role requires the incumbent to work from the office circa 4 days per week.

Profile

To apply for this Recruitment Manager - Engineering/Automotive role, your profile will closely match:

  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a confident and articulate communicator and presenter to internal/external audiences.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and are comfortable taking ownership for own work, whilst working effectively within a team.
  • Have previous recruitment experience, either in an internal or agency environment (a bias in recruiting for Engineering or Manufacturing professionals would be advantageous).
  • Have the ability to engage and manage internal and external stakeholders, up to a senior level.
  • Have previous experience of conducting interviews and assessments.
  • Be familiar with the use of social media as a platform for driving brand awareness and talent acquisition.
  • Be adept at dealing with high volume recruitment, while maintaining KPI's, time to hire and candidate experience.
  • Be able to analyse market data and internal quality measures, sharing best practice and recommendations with the business.
  • Experience of automotive manufacturing would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Experience of market mapping and talent pooling would be ideal.
