Your new company
Your new organisation is within the public sector, and is seeking a temporary, full time, recruiter to tackle regional recruitment needs across the East of England. This role is primarily remote, but will require ad-hoc travel to support demand.

Your new role
The role is to act as the lead for all recruitment activity with the organisation, and ultimately have the responsibility for ensuring quality appointments. The role is governed by two distinct activities: external, and internal recruitment.

External Recruitment Consultant: To understand the facilities management market and to lead on external recruitment activities such as sourcing, candidate engagement, capturing, and alongside the hiring manager converting, through to onboarding.

Internal Recruitment Expert: To support and drive the recruitment process and the internal culture (coaching, upskilling) and acting as an expert advisor.

As part of your accountabilities, you'll be implementing recruitment activities, writing and publishing adverts, sourcing candidates, assisting the selection process, and engaging with external candidates to incite them to engage with the organisation.

Additionally, you will be reporting on recruitment activities, suggesting process improvements, and aligning the organisation to the public sector recruitment principals. You will also work collaboratively to support cross-HR activity (such as apprenticeship programs, pay gap interventions etc.)

You will coach managers on fair, and consistent selection, manage the potential huge number of tasks and campaigns simultaneously, and communicate with agency partners.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will be CIPD level 3 qualified in HR and have experience in the recruitment industry, agency industry, or agency management.

You will have experience of public sector recruitment principles and working within a large, multi site facilities management service delivery business.

You will be able to demonstrate resilience, adaptability, autonomy and integrity. You will have an approachable attitude, and be well presented and reliability.

Additionally, you will be flexible over working hours and expect reasonable travel as required.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of £30-33k, holiday entitlement, and additional benefits.
