HR Advisor, 12 months FTC, Remote, circa £32-35k + benefits, Manufacturing Sector

Your new company
Your new organisation specialises in manufacturing premium-quality wood products for construction, industrial, and distribution customers. Your new company is looking for an enthusiastic HR Advisor to support their functional leaders, utilising strong HR experience and expertise.

Although this role is primarily remote, upon occasion, you will need to travel for business 1-2 times a month (Government guideline dependent) between Kings Lynn (Norfolk) and Boston (Lincolnshire).

Your new role
Within your new role, you will be developing, and executing business strategies focused on performance management, career development, employee relations, and compensation planning.

This includes, translating tactical business plans into critical HR actions and initiatives, partnering with site management to evaluate business goals and people and talent management plans. Additionally, you will be managing the talent review process and succession planning, working closing with the senior leadership team to unlock the potential of their people and create a clear path for sustainable growth, and professional development.

You will operate independently, making decisions, and supporting the functional leaders to solve complex issues, and coach both leaders, and employees, on employee relation issues, including, but not limited to; disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.

You will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, assisting managers in their regular operational meetings, and on key projects.

You will also maintain the HR info system (Workday), supporting up to date employment records, regarding contracts, movements, and ER.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering generalist HR advice, across complex environments and whilst managing multiple stakeholders. You will be CIPD level 5 qualified or have an equivalent qualification.

You will have a passion for people development and improving leadership capability, as well as have a strong business judgement and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.

You will be assertive, independent, but be able to remain calm, and resilient during times of change and pressure.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additionally, you will not be afraid to establish a visible presence, engaging with constructive dialogue, and accountability.

Finally, you will have excellent planning and organisational skills.

What you'll get in return
You'll receive a salary of circa £35000, 33 days holiday including bank holidays, pension, CIPD study support, and access to a discount platform.
