This is a great role for an existing HR Manager or Business Partner seeking their next career step, and an opportunity to join an organisation who are embracing a period of change, and be an integral part of that change.

Client Details

My client is a successful manufacturing company with multiple sites across Cheshire and Greater Manchester. Due to an exciting period of change, they are recruiting for an HR Manager/Business Partner who will support the company through transition. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a step-up role in a company where their creative ideas will be welcomed and actioned. The role is based in Macclesfield, on site 5 days a week due to the nature of the business.

Description

The key responsibilities for the HR Business Partner are, but not limited to;

  • Working closely with Directors to develop people and drive performance
  • Supporting with the implementation of change management programmes
  • Harmonising HR policies and procedures, and maintaining the policies
  • Providing advice and guidance relating to employment law
  • Implementing new company initiatives
  • Encouraging a high-performance culture
  • Building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Assisting with investigation processes
  • Leading on the full recruitment process - liaising with third party suppliers, implementing staff inductions
  • Producing reports using HRIS, developing HR and payroll systems
  • Supporting the delivery of in-house training courses

Profile

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Good initiative and a willingness to bring ideas to the table
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident, professional and self-motivated
  • Passion for HR and drive to make a difference
