My client, an award winning, scholarly publisher are looking to appoint a Talent Acquisition lead to join their high performing team. The role reports into the Talent Acquisition Manager and will partner with the Business Support team. The purpose of the role is to be accountable for the delivery of headcount demand within our Business support teams across 9 markets in Europe, the UK and Continental Europe. The TA Lead will lead a team of TA professionals and set the strategy to help attract high quality candidates from a range of backgrounds. You will work in a team with 6 other talent acquisition members whilst collaborating with the People team and hiring managers from across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of Talent Acquisition strategy and oversee its implementation for the Business Support teams
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders, to understand and deliver their hiring needs
  • Manage and enable a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, developing objectives and goals and ensuring these are achieved
  • Provide expert talent acquisition advice and guidance, taking an innovative approach to sourcing and ensuring an excellent candidate experience
  • Measure and report on the impact of talent acquisition activity and initiatives, identifying opportunities to continuously improve
  • Lead on Talent Acquisition projects
  • Research, identify and monitor Talent Acquisition trends

About You

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering talent to organisation
  • Knowledge gained in attracting and selecting high calibre candidates
  • Skilled in the planning and execution of recruitment projects, including diversity initiatives and pipeline recruitment initiatives
  • Experience of managing, motivating and developing others
  • Experience of engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Experience of managing high volume recruitment activity in a rapidly growing business
