Resource Manager - management consulting

A leading management consultancy is looking for a Resource Manager to join the firm. You'll have accountability for the resource management strategy, forecasting, utilisation and career development for a specific practice. Working closely with the People Team, you will be responsible for:

• Acting as advisor to the practice group - understanding resourcing requirements and wider business needs
• Representing practice group in scheduling meetings and decisions
• Working in partnership with scheduling team and senior practice group members to ensure efficient scheduling processes
• Leading on the scheduling process for European offices
• Attending management meetings
• Overseeing analysis of business forecasting e.g. chargeable hours, utilisation and driving resourcing decisions and positive behaviours
• Developing and delivering on resourcing initiatives
• Leading on projects and initiatives within the Resource Management team and within People and Culture pillar of business services
• Assisting with development reviews

As Resource Manager, you will possess:

• Previous Resource Management/Workforce planning experience ideally within management consulting
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
