Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with legal client as they expand their team and recruit for a HR Assistant. This a permanent opportunity based in Leeds (currently home working until May, hybrid thereafter).
Reporting into the HR Manager, you will be joining a busy, fast paced function, who offer a fantastic inclusive, supportive and friendly culture.
This candidate will focus on managing the on boarding process as the  business recruits new hires. This will include managing employee data on the systems, system & data updates, offers of employment/contracts, starters and leavers process. The HR Assistant will liaise with managers, offering advice on HR related matters, they will support the payroll function, and  work closely with the HR manager supporting in ad hoc HR projects.
In addition to this you will manage all incoming HR enquiries and HR correspondences, and the reporting on HR data. The HR Assistant will also support the recruitment of new hires into the business, resourcing for key roles. This is a real generalist, hands on and fast paced role!
We are looking for:
·Previous experience working in a HR role is essential!
·A real passion for HR and developing a long term career
·Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards.
·Good experience using HR Systems and producing reports.
·Strong Excel skills, verbal & written communications
·A confident communicator who has an organised approach is a must
