Currently recruiting a Payroll & Benefits Officer for a permanent role. The role is based in Dunfermline, Fife (hybrid working) for a part-time opportunity (0.5 FTE).

Client Details

Highly successful global manufacturing business.


Payroll professional to join the HR team on a part time basis and take full ownership for the input, processing, administration and reporting of our monthly payroll for UK and EU. In addition, the role will take full responsibility for employee benefits communication, queries and administration. This is a standalone role so confidence in the advice provided is required and an ability to interpret and work with payroll partners on the legislative requirements in each country.


You will have experience of running a payroll for at least 100 people and have at least an understanding of the complexities of paying staff in another country. You will be highly numeric and will have a keen eye for detail. You will be proficient in Excel. You will have a high level of knowledge of tax issues which affect payroll for individuals and will be happy and able to interact with employees who have queries over their pay calculations. You will also understand the requirements around pensions and auto enrolment and the implications of other benefits, such as visas, salary sacrifice schemes, company cars and healthcare insurance schemes.


  • Experience in implementing a new payroll system
  • Knowledge of Success Factors or similar employee central system will be advantageous
