The successful HR Advisor will provide support with ER, absence management and recruitment, working with managers of all levels to support in their understanding, knowledge and processes associated with this area of HR.

Client Details

Our client are a well known food manufacturing organisation based in West Yorkshire who have been around since 1853. They are now looking for a HR Advisor to join them on a full time, interim basis.

Description

The successful HR Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice and support to Senior Managers and Line Managers to acquire, develop and manage people through the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting and advising on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, capability and absences processes
  • Monitoring absence levels and working with managers to ensure absence management tools are used effectively
  • Managing and supporting recruitment and selection processes
  • Arranging interviews and support line managers as appropriate
  • Completing daily, weekly and monthly HR/Payroll reports
  • Ensuring personal files are created for new starters and maintain existing files
  • Ensuring HRIS is up to date and maintained

Profile

The successful HR Advisor will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, and experience of providing advice on the management of employee relations issues
  • Relevant HR experience gained within a busy HR department ideally within a fast moving and challenging environment
  • Experience of HR in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • A thorough understanding of the implementation of UK Employment law
  • CIPD qualified
