Internal Recruitment Consultant
Salary: £24,000-£28,000
Location: Manchester 2-3 days per week/remote working

Macmillan Davies are delighted to be partnering yet again with this prestigious higher education establishment in their search for an Internal Recruitment Consultant to join the wider Recruitment team on a permanent basis.

This is a really interesting time to be in the higher education sector which is experiencing significant change with our client themselves going through a period of exciting transformation which includes investing in their growing recruitment team.

As Internal Recruitment Consultant you will be providing a dedicated E2E recruitment support to hiring managers in your assigned areas and can expect to be managing 35-40 live vacancies at any one time.

In addition you will help revolutionise the current recruitment practices, streamlining and improving the recruitment function processes.

Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, responsibilities of the Recruitment Consultant include;

*Provide a full recruitment service to hiring managers across the organisation

*Provide guidance around the delivery of all recruitment campaigns

*Ensure that all contracts of employment, offer letters and other contractual paperwork comply with HR best practice and relevant employment legislation

*Assist the Recruitment Lead in the development, implementation and management of a direct recruitment strategy and any associated methodologies or processes that support increased employer brand awareness and reduced cost per hire

*Assist in the development of training packages that are associated with recruitment and selection, ensuring they are up-to-date, legally compliant and represent current best practice

*Assist in the delivery of HR recruitment workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of HR colleagues and hiring managers across the University

Both internal and agency backgrounds are welcomed for this role and a background in education is not required, more important is the ability to handle challenging stakeholders and provide a first class recruitment support within a high volume and fast paced environment.
