A Reward Specialist role, ideal for someone with solid experience analysing, designing and implementing Reward programmes in large global organisations

Client Details

My client is a global FTSE100 multi-channel retailer and distributor based in Greater Manchester, with over 2400 store outlets across 19 territories. This organisation continues to be a real market leader following various acquisitions of well-known international brands, and has enjoyed another period of record growth.

Description

The Senior Reward Advisor will be responsible for developing and growing the group's employee reward, pension and benefits processes. Reporting to the Head of Reward and Compliance, this is a pivotal autonomous role where you will provide guidance, technical support and expertise to internal and external customers.

The Reward Advisor will cover all elements of compensation, benefits and performance related pay, from grassroots through to executive level, but there will be a short-term need to focus specifically on the benefits offering. The organisation has a Total Reward structure and policy in place, but there is some element of greenfield to some areas of the offering.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Design and implementation of new benefits programmes
  • Supporting on annual reporting
  • Successful analysis and management of the annual pay review, medical benefits, pensions auto enrolment, pension re-assessments, annual incentive plans
  • Ownership of Gender pay gap reporting

Profile

The successful candidate will be a strong subject matter expert in all facets of Reward.

You must have exceptional data and analytical skills and be able to tailor messages to different audiences. You will need to be able to cope under pressurised timelines, respond well to competing priorities, be adaptable and flexible, in line with fast-paced changes to business needs

The successful candidate for this role will have/be;

* Solid and demonstrable experience in a Reward and Benefits role
* Experience of designing, creating and implementing new Reward initiatives
* Degree or post grad equivalent in Human Resources/Reward & Benefits (MCIPD) or equivalent experience/qualifications would be beneficial
* Advanced Excel skills and experience of manipulating and analysing large volumes of data
* Strong working knowledge of statutory requirements and legislation influencing Reward design and operation e.g. Gender Pay Gap reporting, National Minimum Wage etc
* Ability to work independently and use own initiative
* Highly organised with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
* Creative and innovative with external market awareness.
* Experience of leading complex reward related projects and implementing to deadlines

Job Offer

The client is offering a salary of circa £40,000-55,000 DOE plus benefits. The organisation operates a hybrid working model
