HR and Recruitment Officer

Your new company
Our Education client is recruiting a HR & Recruitment Officer for a temporary/permanent position. You will be joining a team of 2 other HR professionals, replacing the current HR Officer in an outstanding residential and SEN school.

This role will require you to work in the office 35 hours, 5 days a week (with the odd adhoc day at home.) The hours for this role will be term time plus 3 weeks in the school holidays.

Your new role
Reporting into the HR Services Manager you will provide HR transactional and advisory support, ensuring consistent and effective delivery of the HR service across the school. Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting end to end recruitment and selection processes, whilst adhering to Moor House safeguarding procedures
• Completing and supervising HR transactional activities including absence management, recruitment activity and staff turnover, providing reports as necessary on related information
• Providing support to managers in relation to employee relations matters
• Providing Support on HR projects

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role you must have experience as a HR practitioner with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
