Part-time HR Manager
Location: South Manchester
Salary - £35,000 -£40,000 pro rata'd

Macmillan Davies are delighted to be partnering with this market leading manufacturer of specialist sports products who are considered to be the no.1 brand in the world for what they do.

Having experienced great success with a substantial increase in revenue and with continued ambitious growth plans, this championship business is now seeking an experienced HR Manager to join them on a part-time basis, working 24hours across 3 days to be based onsite at the South Manchester site.

This brand new role presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who will come from a manufacturing background with good strong true generalist experience, be confident in managing a high level of ER casework and possess first class communication skills having the ability to build great stakeholder relationships across the organisation.

Experience with unions isn't necessary for this role.

Key Responsibilities;

To own and deliver the Learning and Development Strategy for the site, specifically owning Leadership development and the wider Talent Management agenda.
To streamline and simplify all HR key processes, policies and practices, with regular review for improvement opportunities, in line with aspirations for the site becoming a world class manufacturing organization.
To support in the coaching and development of the Line Managers.
To contribute fully to the effective running of the business as part of the Leadership Team.
To take the lead on developing a high-performance culture creating an energizing sense of purpose whilst ensuring connectivity with people.
Managing employee relation issues across a broad range of topics including absence management, disciplinary and grievances

Relevant Skills & Experience;

Significant experience working at HRBP level, dealing with the full spectrum of ER issues and cases, up to and including dismissal
Organisational Development experience
The ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload effectively
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships across a diverse employee group
CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5) or working towards
Experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Commercially aware to support both the business and employees
CIPD Level 5
