Page Personnel are currently partnering with a reputable retail business, based on the Wirral, who are currently looking for a HR Assistant to join their growing team. Reporting into the HR Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the wider team in all areas of HR

The HR Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with all areas of HR administration
  • First point of contact for all HR queries
  • Preparing reports and conduct analysis
  • Supporting with the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing contracts
  • Actively participating in multi-departmental meetings
  • Project work
  • Assisting with preparation of payroll
  • Ensuring the onboarding process is completed
  • Monitoring training and compliance records
  • Managing some employee relations casework
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required


The successful HR Assistant will have:

  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
  • Experience of working within a busy HR team
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Keen eye for detail
