Macmillan Davies are partnering with a sizeable NHS Trust in the North West as they look to appoint a Head of Reward and Pay.

With real ambition to become the Employer of Choice in the North West and a great place to work this Trust see having the correct pay and reward strategy as essential to realising this ambition by attracting and retaining the best talent. Naturally the knock on effect is an improved service to the community.

Reporting to the HR Director, the Head of Reward will provide effective leadership to an informed and engaged Pay and Reward function who design, develop and deliver innovative and best practice services in what is a rather complex Organisation.

This broad role will see you overseeing and improving, from a Reward perspective:
*Service development
*Service delivery
*Governance and compliance
*Leadership, people management and development
*Budget responsibility
*Audit and research
*Continuous improvement

About you

We're hoping to attract those who are true leaders and strategic thinkers who want to make a transformative impact. You should have a highly developed knowledge of pay, pensions and rewards as well as experience in leading a relevant service (not necessarily NHS). Budget management experience is also essential.

On a personal level, you'll have sound judgement and be able to make effective decisions under pressure. You'll be suitably qualified with a highly collaborative and cohesive style and be skilful in influencing and negotiating, enabling change and innovation effectively.
