Oakleaf are working with a Management Consulting firm, whose clients are Financial Services, to hire an HRBP into the team to cover a maternity, for 12 Months starting as soon as possible.

In this role, the Business Partner for the UK works alongside a team of 3 to provide a proactive and professional service covering both HR Business Partnering and HR Operations, reporting into the UK HR Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to the UK leadership team, with a clear understanding of key business goals and the HR team's role in achieving these goals.
  • Contribute to the organisational strategy through employee engagement, performance enablement and employee relations, managing risk and facilitating the execution of the HR BP's role in this.
  • Support leaders and managers in nurturing an environment that facilitates high levels of employee engagement, inclusion, job satisfaction and talent retention.
  • Oversee the HR Business Partnering team in facilitating the annual performance enablement process, performance improvement plans and coaching assignments.
  • Coordinate the identification of high potential talent and development of succession plans.
  • Coach and advise HR Business Partners on complex and/or sensitive matters
  • Investigate and support complex ER cases where escalation is needed.
  • Connect leaders to specialist resources across HR, such as talent acquisition, talent development, DE&I, reward and global mobility.

  • Ability to motivate, lead and coach others
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced, agile way
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others
  • Experience as a trusted advisor to leaders, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong communication and project management skills
