The role of Talent Acquisition Manager is a first-time appointment within this organisation, a great opportunity for an experienced TA specialist to have autonomy and shape the TA strategy

Client Details

My client is a leading global manufacturer and supplier, with facilities in Greater Manchester, Scotland and in Europe.

Description

Reporting in to the European HR Director and partnering with on-site HR, the key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Develop sourcing pools, proactively creating applicant pools and talent pipelines
  • Collaboratively consult with hiring managers to recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidate
  • Support Employer Branding initiatives
  • Support with posting job ads on job boards, social media, professional associations and employee referral programmes
  • Evaluate applications, review CV's, conduct reference checks to pre-qualify candidates and carry out telephone interviews to establish a narrow candidate pool, ensuring all quality checks have been completed for candidates selected for interview
  • Develop standard candidate criteria for each role, managing and maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date Job Specification library
  • Work closely with HR to ensure efficient and effective onboarding of new starters
  • Manage and develop supply partners, ensuring robust SLA's and competitive terms. Manage, drive and assist those specialist partner companies included on the PSL in properly supplying candidates to open vacancies

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have/be;

  • Experience in multi-discipline recruitment, ideally in a global setting, covering the full recruitment life-cycle
  • Track record in full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, or similar
  • Experience of supplier / vendor management
  • Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and positively challenge managers
  • Ability to use initiative to seek improved ways of working

Job Offer

The role is offering £40,000 - 50,000 DOE plus benefits

The role is predominantly office-based, and there is a requirement for adhoc travel to the various sites
