Job Details
Oakleaf are partnered with a boutique Private Equity firm in their search for an HR intern to join the team initially on a 12 month FTC. This is a global firm and will give generalist HR experience across the full employee lifecycle, it's an excellent opportunity to start a career in HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general HR administration support to the wider HR team
- Draft contracts and changes to terms of employment including probation letters
- Support the onboarding and offboarding administration for new joiners
- Ensure that Payroll is notified of relevant changes to enable accurate and timely processing
- Respond to Reference requests and general queries in a timely manner
- Diary management and interview scheduling
- Keep recruitment spreadsheets accurate and up to date at each stage
- Participate in project meetings to report on progress
- Coordinate meetings and materials for the project group
- Support with administration of benefits and comp review
- Accurately update the HRIS system
Key Skills:
- A passion and demonstrable interest to pursue a career in HR
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work in a reactive and fast pace environment
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- CIPD or HR related degree would be preferable
