Talent Partner Job - 12 Month Maternity Contract (Property)

Oakleaf are working with a prestigious property company who are looking for an experienced Talent partner to come and join their collaborative team on a 12-month Maternity contract.

You will be working closely with the HR team you will be responsible for delivering high quality hires to work within the Residential Sales and Lettings business. An effective communicator you will be responsible for the whole recruitment process whilst developing working relationships with internal hiring managers and external suppliers. Working within a target and data driven environment you will be focused on candidate generation and an advocate of the company's brand. Operating and delivering within a fast paced environment you will also have responsibility for the communication, development and effective use of recruitment systems and processes across the business.

The role is paying between £55-65,000 - looking at a start date for March/April

Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Support hiring managers to ensure effective and efficient recruiting including:
  • Creating job profiles & Discussing and agreeing job descriptions
  • Phone screening applications and providing a shortlist to hiring managers- providing honest thoughts
  • and feedback
  • Using LinkedIn Recruiter to direct source candidates / Interviewing candidates
  • Ensuring appropriate Psychometric tools are deployed and used effectively to inform recruitment
  • choices
  • Using Talent Insights and other LinkedIn tools to support roles
  • Manage, and liaise with, the Vacancy Coordinator community to ensure they operate effectively and
  • are appropriately involved and recognised for their input in the recruitment process.
  • Liaise with the Heads of Region and Heads of Department to provide honest feedback on recruitment market and challenges
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, providing feedback on changes where necessary
  • Work with the wider recruitment team on initiatives and projects
  • Maintain list of potential external targets for all areas of the residential business, in particular the niche areas that are difficult to recruit into.
  • Oversee and manage feedback across candidates, suppliers and hiring managers.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure the on-boarding process is consistent and efficient.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience as an agency or in-house talent acquisition advisor/partner
  • Our ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of the property sector
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
  • Strong understanding of all selection methods and techniques
  • Proficient use of social media and job boards
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and databases
  • Proven experience of working with candidate testing tools i.e. psychometric and skills testing
