The Recruitment Business Partner will be responsible for leading and implementing the recruitment strategy for the business and will take the lead on activities within their defined business area. The Recruitment Business Partner will provide support to the wider Recruitment team and will line manage a team of Resourcing Advisors to deliver a first-class experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders, leadership teams and hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and shape future hiring strategies
  • Develop insight and knowledge in key business disciplines, and provide updates on key recruitment trends in these areas
  • Ensure that hiring managers have the key skills and tools needed in order to hire the top talent in their business areas
  • Identify job requirements and determine qualification criteria for candidates
  • Provide expert advice on how to best structure recruitment campaigns, with a focus on maximising social media presence and reducing the need for third-party suppliers
  • Demonstrate a progressive recruitment approach and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve the recruitment service for both managers and candidates
  • Manage relationships internally and externally, including account relationship management
  • Ensure managers are fully briefed on the progress of recruitment campaigns, including regular update meetings
  • Manage candidate engagement and provide support and guidance to Resourcing Advisors
  • Manage and coach the Resourcing Advisor, providing guidance on recruitment activities and dealing with any escalated queries
  • Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies
  • Manage interview and assessment processes, driving consistency and quality in both internal and external processes

Profile

  • Previous experience in either an in-house recruitment role or recruitment agency
  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition and recruitment campaign management
  • Must have operated at a senior level within a recruitment team
  • Proven success in developing direct sourcing channels, particularly with LinkedIn
  • Experience of implementing creative recruitment strategies including referrals
  • Highly skilled at building relationships to engage and gain credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to deliver difficult messages
  • Proven track record of sourcing candidates using a variety of tools including LinkedIn, CV databases, job boards and referrals
  • Experience of using a document management system or applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Excellent communication skills
