Reporting into the Recruitment Business Partner, the Resourcing Advisor will contribute to the national recruitment strategy for the business and will provide a first-class experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders. The Resourcing Advisor will be a key part of a highly successful UK Recruitment team and will use a variety of tools and platforms to source and assess candidates, to drive top talent into the business.

My client is a leading Professional Services firm based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop knowledge of the talent market and candidate pool for a variety of disciplines
  • Source potential candidates via social media, referrals, networking, job boards, databases and recruitment agencies
  • Assess candidates to determine their suitability for specific vacancies
  • Screen all levels of candidates from entry to senior level positions, based on job specification and skill requirements
  • Provide regular updates on progress to the Recruitment Business Partner and recruiting managers
  • Produce reports for teams with high volume of recruitment
  • Participate in career events
  • Coordinate job advertisements, including writing copy for LinkedIn and other advertising platforms
  • Deliver a first-class candidate experience and recruitment journey
  • Update internal systems with the relevant candidate information
  • Manage interview and assessment processes, as well as providing detailed feedback to candidates
  • Build an ongoing candidate pipeline through market research, networking events and database management

Profile

  • Previous experience in either an in-house recruitment role or recruitment agency
  • Proven track record of sourcing candidates using a variety of tools including LinkedIn, CV databases, job boards and referrals
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of using a document management system or applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
